W8CP + Displaylink driver preview 2
Hi,
the Driver Preview 2 installs fine on Win8CP and, at first, I thought it ran perfectly well (triple monitor setup). However, it seems to make some Metro apps crash (e.g. Reader, Solitaire, Maps, Calendar, etc...) while other Metro apps still work (e.g. Photos, Mail). The apps still crash when I undock and do not use any external monitors, and everything returns to normal once I uninstall the Driver Preview 2. I hope you can fix this soon. |

Any updates on this bug? Seems that the desktop works perfectly, but losing Metro style apps is a bit of a pain.

Hello.
I have the same issue like BurningOrange. First of all i will say "thank you" for the Windows 8 version. It runs faster than the Windows 7 version and the mouse handling was very fine. |

Some application crash with Access Denied (0xC0000005) or with "terminated due to startup timeout". Disabling the service does not fix the issue and "not connecting" the device either. Only deinstall fixes the problem! |
