Default DisplayLink, Dynadock and Audio switcher

I do use a Dynadock U3.0, and as I got somewhat weary of the lengthy and cumbersome procedure to switch audio devices, I decided to install some additional software so as to speed things up.

At first, I found Win7AudioSwitcher. It really seemed what I was looking for. But with the Dynadock, it turned out to be impossible to switch the audio output. As a matter of fact, with the new program the audio disappeared all of a sudden, though not the laptop's own audio output. The dynadock, however, and the audio devices attached to it had gone silent. I was unable to revive them even after unplugging the power cord, and I had to reinstall displaylink.

I also tried another free software, Audio Switcher for Windows 7. But the result was quite the same.

That's the reason why I'd like to know whether one should, with displaylink and dynadock, avoid using such audio switcher software or whether you could recommend one piece of software that would let me switch more easily from one audio device to another.

We've not tested with any audio switcher software, so cannot recommend this or tell if it should work. But we are a standard USB 2.0 audio device.

We do install our own audio driver and it is possible that these apps are not aware of our audio driver which prevents them working. It sounds like it corrupted the audio driver causing a reinstall.
