2560 x 1440p not possible (Mavericks, Dell U2713HM, DVI or HDMI)

There is a problem with max. resolution for the Dell U2713HM on displaylink with mac.

I can only see 1920x1200. The monitor is connected as single monitor via DVI (stock cable) or HDMI (2160p ready cable). Resolution should be 2560x1440.

Driver is the newest 2.2.

OS is Mavericks.

Is it correct, that this combination should work?
