DisplayLink keeps disconnecting
Why does DisplayLink constantly disconnect and reconnect?
I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 running Windows 10 and a brand new Anker Dual Display Universal Docking Station. Both are connected to older ASUS VW246H widescreen monitors. One is connected to the Anker HDMI port and the other to the DVI port. As often as 5-8 times an hour both monitors go black and then reconnect. Error message blames DVI. I've followed the DisplayLink troubleshooting. BIOS and all drivers are up to date. Latest DisplayLink software/drivers are installed. Changed the DVI cable. Still happens. Any thoughts? |
