I just bought an ASUS MB169B+ display and connected via USB-3 to my HP Zbook G3 running windows 7 Pro- 64 bits. I have a Nvidia Quadro graphic card with the latest display driver and I have the latest displaylink driver (v8) installed.
The device and driver are detected and working according to the device manager, but the external screen stays black. I tried in all USB port same. The power light is white but no display in any port. I cannot even see the monitor in the screen resolution setting panel. I know a similar thread was posted some time ago and that DisplayLink acknowledged the issue and answered that this problem would be fixed on the next driver version v8. I have this version and I still have a black screen. Any thoughts please? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
