Audio port not working on Ubuntu 16.04.2

See the attached file. The USB 3.0 Dock with DisplayLink 1.3.52 driver installed, but the audio port does not give any sound output or take any voice input. When I plug in a earplug from the dock, the system system is still on (doesn't auto-switch to Dock).

Any suggestions will be appreciated!
