Lenovo LT1421WD stays black with Ubuntu 16.04

Manateeoncruise Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2017 Posts: 2	Lenovo LT1421WD stays black with Ubuntu 16.04 I downloaded "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 1.3.54.zip" and installed it. The system told me that DKMS was missing, which I installed. I can see the display now and switch it on - however it stays dark. Any possible solution?
