Mouse/windows not clickable anymore
I have a weird problem whit a laptop with W10Pro connected to a Terra Displaylink USB3.0 Docking
a few times a day the laptop/windows hangs, mouseclicks wont do anything, the only thimg that works is press CTRL+ ALT + DEL (go's to lockingscreen) and click on cancel and its working again like nothing happened. I've upgraded tot the last beta, it seemed to work for a few days, now its back.. |

I believe what you are describing is the paint/refresh issue Microsoft is currently working on. If it is, then all actions (clicks and keyboard presses) are registered and acted upon, but the displays don't refresh. Would you please be able to check that just resizing the window forces the refresh of the application? That will be the definite confirmation you are observing the same phenomenon. Kind regards, Alban

is reacts on CTRL ALT DEL, end you see the mousepointer also, i'll check the rest for you.
Its only happening while connected to the docking, she can work all day without the docking. Another client had a similar problem and problem solved for now with the beta software. |

If that's the same issue, this is supposed to depend on the number of displays connected rather than what they are connected to. When the application hangs, you can also try to take a screenshot using Print Screen. Then, pasting the screenshot in an email or Paint, you can observe if the screen capture shows the updated content or the stale one. This can help pinpoint at which point of the graphics chain the issue may lie. But the most interesting point would be to know if the clicks are actually registered or not... I believe they will be but the screen content is not updated. Kind regards, Alban
