Hopelessly Lost- Monitors not Recognized
Hello again,
I am following the FAQ now. OS is Catalina 10.15. I have the lastest MAC extension 5.2.4 installed and it is enabled in Extensions. I have the latest version of the Display Link Manager (5.25). When I attempt to enable Screen Recording, the app is not shown on the list (or anywhere e.g. accessibility, etc.). Does anyone have any idea as to how to proceed? Thanks, Bob Baird =============================== Hi, I have the OGeeM. I am running a MacAir with Catalina. I have two external Dell Monitors (fairly new) with HDMI connections. I have installed the driver and the Manager. Neither of my monitors are recognized by my laptop. I have performed multiple restarts and reboots of the monitors, laptop and OGeeM. Also, when I plug some USB devices into the ports (a mouse for example) it doesn't work either. Not sure if there is a particular USB port the USBC cable from the computer's port is supposed to plug into on the device or if any port is supposed to work. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob Baird............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .......................... I'm also having the same issue, I have even wiped my Mac and did a clean build, and it still does not show DisplayLink to activate in Screen Recording.
The weird thing is I get a message when I plug it in, saying to please activate DisplayLink in screen recording, so it sees it but will not let me enable it. |
