Hopefully the fix for me will be as simple for you. When I reconnected my cabling, I used the 2nd HDMi port along with the DisplayPort. The 2nd HDMI is only 2K, whereas the 1st is 4K and I hadn't realised that. Now that I'm using the 1st HDMi along with the DisplayPort, and my 3rd display is being driven from the MacBook Pro M2 as before, all is well and I have 2560 resolution on all 3 external displays.
