Netgear P2tv + dell new driver works
Hi guys dell driver for inter chipset rel from dec 02 13 works, with netgear, however you have to go to desktop and setup profile for miracast with intel application and configure it to clone.
I also have surface pro and that device works fine with netgear, however I have major issues when I want to use BT k/m and miracast did you experience any issues with this kind of setup? Thanks Michael |

i can repro this problem too
I have a dell venue 8 pro as well and can reproduce this same problem with both the 7.4 and 7.5 drivers. Its truly frustrating. I have to uninstall the display link drivers in order to mirror miracast onto my TV, then install them to hook up to my display link dock.
I'm really interested in a solution here. Thanks. -Corom |

This has been raised internally to to try and reproduce. On the Belkin ScreenCast I had after getting extend and mirror working once I could never subsequently get it to work. I went through numerous threads including this one http://en.community.dell.com/support.../19531153.aspx FYI: We are also still working on the connected standby issue. I'll update you when I hear more on both issues. Thanks, James |

I got the same miracast issue with my Dell venue 8 pro. I can't clone/mirror in miracast mode when displaylink drivers are installed. I'm using the Netgear PTV3000 and an ebay miracast dongle (ipazzport/rockchip) so its not adapter specific.
I have to uninstall the displaylink software to get the clone feature back in miracast. I also get the excessive battery drain on connected standby when displaylink drivers are installed. This was with v7.4 drivers |

Hi,
The next release due out at the end of this month has a fix for the battery drain issue when your adapter / dock / monitor is disconnected from your tablet / notebook. The Miracast issue is still being investigated. Thanks, James |

Great. It looks like the new driver has fixed the connected standby issue. I have not had an excessive drain since yesterday. Haven't been able to try the Miracast cloning yet, but will report back.
Thanks for working on this. |

Just to report and confirm that the new drivers 7.5M1 have fixed the connected standby drain, but (as expected), the Miracast cloning mode is still broken.
Glad to hear that the issue is still being investigated, and look forward to its resolution. |
