I just purchased a Lenovo ThinkVision LT1421 USB display, which I have connected to a Lenovo X301 notebook running Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
I color-profiled the LT1421 using an X-Rite Eye-One Display 2 device and applied the new color profile using Windows 7 color management, but it makes no difference -- it looks like the color profile does nothing. I have calibrated lots of displays and have never seen this behavior before. Is this supported? I need to use color matched displays in my work and will need to return this device if it cannot be calibrated. Thanks in advance for the help. Brian |

Anyone? Does the DisplayLink driver support color correction?
Thanks, Brian |

No - sorry, there is no color calibration support on this product.

Are you planning to add support for color profiles? This is a very important feature for many of us.

It is rather astonishing to learn that color management is not being implemented as a possibility with DisplayLink technology. Absent
color management, DisplayLink is useless to graphic arts, photographic, and video applications where correct color is critical. It is hard to imagine why anyone offering a product enabling multiple monitors as a capability would so deeply cripple their potential market by not offering ICC color management. |

I just bought the Targus usb 3 docking station and the first thing I did was calibrate my screen. Imagine my surprise when nothing happened. After some error hunting I landed here. I'm astonished that color management isn't possible. I'm working with graphics and this is a real dealbreaker for me.

Considering your short reply (I'm very disappointed), I'll immediately send back for refund the 4 monitors Lenovo LT1421 purchased, they are unuseful because of this serious lack into your software...
I STRONGLY INVITE ALL AFFECTED USERS TO NOTIFY THIS SERIOUS ISSUE TO USB MONITOR MANUFACTURERS LIKE LENOVO. |
