Default USB HD causes hardware errer if laptop hybernats

I use a USB HD plugged into a Targus USB docking station. If I forget to remove it before the laptop hibernates I unusually get a hardware error on re booting.
Is this normal?

Hello,

This is not normal but the crash was created by Vendor ID 05E3.
This USB Vendor ID belongs to Genesis Logic Delkin.

Enumeration is when the device introduces itself on the bus. It means the hard drive doesn't behave properly when recovering from low power mode.

The hard drive is not connected to DisplayLink technology but to an internal USB hub in the docking station. As this is not our technology, I will not be able to collect any logs to learn more about this issue.

Kind regards,
Alban
