DisplayLink repeatedly freezing forcing hard reboot
I have an HP universal port replicator using DisplayLink software for an HP Envy running Windows 10 that I got a few months ago. I've had no problems until a couple weeks ago but now, several times a day, all devices connected through the port replicator will suddenly freeze. I can close running programs but doing a restart or shutdown will not even work. I have to hold the power button down long enough to completely force the shutdown.
