DL 7.9 mirrors extra monitors instead of extending
Hi
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this post. I ahve been using the displaylink software for the last 2 years on my home/office setup. I have a laptop connected to a dell docking station and 2 separate monitors connected to it. Until the "upgrade" to Windows 10, each display was recognised as a separate monitor and I could use all 3 screen independently. This was exactly how I need this setup to work. After the upgrade last night, my laptop is recognised, but the 2 separate monitors both show the same image, even when choosing Extend from the project menu. In display properties, when selecting the detect option, it shows the laptop screen as one display but the other two are joined as 2|3. Can anyone please tell me how to get the 3rd monitor working as before? I am stuck and have tried everything I can think, such as uninstalling software and drivers and reinstalling all new versions. Nothing seems to help. Thanks Ian |

Hello Ian,
The layout is saved by Windows, not our drivers. That's why removing/reinstalling have no effect. If 2|3 does not split when you save the change of layout, then your layout may have been corrupted. Here is how to force monitor rediscovery in Windows. I advise you plug back one monitor at a time. http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...fy-numbers-are Kind regards, Alban
