Default monitors won't wake up after second suspend

Why do monitors wake up after suspend one time, but not the next?

Is there a way to get around this issue?

Please see attached support information.

I also raised the question on stackexchange. Notice I installed the driver for Ubuntu on Debian. It works really with the exception that suspend does not behave reliably.

Code:
$ sudo dmesg -w | grep Display
