How do I get my dock on external monitor?
I've just set up my Dell D3100 with an Intel MacBook Pro running Big Sur. I have three monitors working, plus the built-in screen (I'd much rather NOT have that, but I understand that "clamshell mode" is not currently supported).
My problem is that the dock is only showing on the built-in screen. When I previously had two monitors connected by normal HDMI adapters, the dock was on both screens. Can I get the dock onto one or more of the external monitors? I've had a good look round System Preferences but can't see anything appropriate. |

Hmm, should have played around some more before posting on here...
Seems like the dock does appear on the extension monitor if I move my mouse to the bottom of the screen and wait a short (but not consistent) time. I'd rather it was there all the time. "Automatically hide and show the Dock" was NOT checked, although after checking it and unchecking it I seem to have a fixed Dock on one screen. That will probaby do me, but is there a way to get the dock on all screens? |

I think I'm OK now except for one fairly serious annoyance - my notifications all come up on my laptop screen and not the screens in front of me - so I keep missing them.
