Display corruption with Lilliput UM-70 USB Monitor
I've recently purchased a Lilliput UM-70 7" USB Monitor, and have noticed some problems when displaying any sort of hardware accelerated graphics. There is nothing shown, unless there is some other graphical overlay, such as a magnifier app, manually over top of the window, in which case the entire display works perfectly. The problem seems to be a refresh/sync issue; the graphics are drawn fine, but are not updated to the screen unless something causes a redraw of the screen, which causes the display to be updated properly, but only for the single frame (unless something is causing repeated redraws, such as a magnifier or some other overlay). It's certainly capable of rendering everything, it's just not syncing the display properly.
There's a sticky thread about this, but the solution is only for Windows 7. What about under Windows Vista? Last edited by kalzekdor; 01-06-2012 at 04:20 PM. |

It seems restarting the computer and having the monitor connected at startup solved the issue, at least for now. Don't even need to use Aero, thankfully.

Its the same in Vista, but we're working on a fix that would be compatible for Vista and Win 7.
