No ethernet - 17.04 - Dell 3000 dock
I updated to the latest driver, upgraded to 4.12 kernel and fixed the bugs to get external displays working but for some reason the ethernet adapter on the dock is not recognized. Any ideas?
Dell XPS 12 Dell D3000 Dock Ubuntu 17.04 4.12.0-041200-generic Thanks |

The ethernet functionality is handled by upstream kernel cdc_ncm driver, do you see any signs of things going wrong in your dmesg log?

Doesn't look like anything is wrong.

Well judging from the log, the interface has been renamed from usb0 to enx00249b0b2eee. What does 'ip a' show?
