Default Display not working after wake up from sleep

With 1.8 driver, it happened ocassionaly, after updating to 1.8.1 it happens every time – if an external display was used abd the computer wakes up from sleep, DisplayLink Manager doen'st see it anymore. Relaunch DL doesn't help (it did in 1.8), I have to reconnect the display physically (in fact, turn the USB hub off an on again).

– Macbook M1 Air, 16 GB RAM
– MacOS 13.2.1
– DisplayLink 1.8.1
– External display (std. office display, not 4K) connected via USB/Thunderbolt → USB Hub (iTec catriple4kdockpd) → HDMI

If you have not already done so, I would suggest reporting this issue to DisplayLink directly by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

Another quick note, you state your Mac has macOS version 13.2.1 installed. That version is several minor versions of out date, and the latest as of today is version 13.4.
