10.9.4, Dare you update?
I'm sitting here looking at 10.9.4 update and 10.9.3 Displaylink is broken for me, just wondering if I should even bother updating or if it will just break more.

Don't do it
We had some users update to 10.9.4 from 10.9.3 and now there are mouse tracking issues with both external mice and the built in trackpad where the mouse pauses or freezes every few seconds rendering it un-usable. I'd stay on 10.9.3 we have had very good luck with that version.

FWIW zero issue under 10.9.4, but I didn't have any issues in previous versions either.

AOC 16" USB Monitor
I purchased the AOC 16" monitor for my Mac Air laptop as a monitor to use when I could be in one place for a while. I have OSX 10.9.4 and downloaded the latest DisplayLink driver. But the monitor will not work. I get a view of my screensaver but nothing else. The display on the laptop works but not the AOC monitor. Nice monitor as for size and portability but apparently not compatible with the Mac OSX 10.9.4.
Any possible fix for this. Thanks, Don |

I did try the DVI and HDMI outputs but 3 monitors was a little too much for me so it's just the laptop and HDMI monitor right now but it's working fine on 10.9.4. My HDMI monitor is a JVC BlackCrystal 37" 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV JLC37BC3000 |
