no screen recording option on late 2012 mac mini

I have installed a legacy driver, as the latest ones were not compatible with my OS (10.15.17). I followed instructions but do not see the app in the list for screen recording access in Systems Preferences -> Security and Privacy -> Privacy Tab -> Screen Recording. The app has installed but nothing else. Please advise.
