Windows 7 PRO + HP Video Docking Station

Hi All,

I have a HP Laptop 4520s and one of them USB Video docking stations, up to date.

Once the drivers are installed for the docking station it will be fine, and when the user reboots the laptop it asks to update DisplayLink they try and run the update it installs fine, but wont pick up the screen through the docking station.

To get around this i have to restore the machine back to just after the drivers were installed and it will work fine.

I have tried to install the latest 5.5 drivers but half way through the install it says "Failed to install Drivers" rolls back and is back to 5.2 (which gets install automatically) and i am back to square one.

Any help? Thanks

Please follow the instructions in this FAQ to remove 5.2 driver and then try installing the latest 5.5M1 from here and see if the problem continues.
