Default macOS Mojave 10.14.5 - anyone tried it yet?

So, having just gotten my DisplayLink adaptor working with 10.14.4, I'm feeling reluctant to just go ahead and install the next macOS update, which of course arrived this morning. Has anyone tried it/heard anything about how it interacts with the DisplayLink drivers?

Hi,

macOS 10.14.5 requires kernel extensions to be notarized. DisplayLink have notarized the drivers already while the O/S was still in dev beta preview, and released a 5.1.1 version that's available on the Downloads site.

See https://displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66574

Thanks
Michal

Default Had to upgrade...

So, because I use my Mac in a business environment, I'm required to run any security-related updates, so I installed 10.14.5 last night. Unfortunately, I'm now experiencing the "blank screen" problem, where the Mac loads the DisplayLink kext and the DisplayLink display shows up in the Displays preference pane, but there's no actual video output.

I already had the 5.1.1 driver loaded under 10.14.4, but tried uninstalling it, restarting, reinstalling it, and restarting, but that didn't do the trick. I've posted the output from the support tool on another thread.

i have no display output at all on mine as well. I thought it may of been from my time machine restore that i did on my the 2019 mac i just got, however it appears to be something else. i did have it randomly work the other day after giving up on it for a few. worked the rest of the day and have not been able to get it to work since.
