Default 0xC5 after DisplayLink

I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent MIMO USB monitor purchase.

When I first installed my the display link driver I immediately started noticing desktop window manager crashing constantly.

After a driver update, that issue luckily went away, but chrome stopped working due to a failure to properly sandbox a dll

That was a deal breaker, so I decided to uninstall the display link driver until the devs can figure out what quality control is.

...then I started receiving constant blue screens with a driver corruption error.

Luckily I had a system restore point from the day before I purchased the monitor. I'm up and running again, but I have a completely useless monitor that the retailer won't return because it isn't defective. I can exchange it for another one however, and be stuck with the same driver problem.

Is there a new driver on the horizon that isn't terrible?
