Hello Pascal,
Which firmware are you referring to? DisplayLink doesn't have or need a standalone flasher. The fw update is always transparent. Kind regards, Alban

Hello Alban,
my question is for dell D6000 dock, but not related to a specifc fw. I wanted to know if it's possible to update fw remotly for more than 5000 system and how to do this knowing that DELL doesn't have a tool to do that. Thank you. Regards, Pascal |

Hello Pascal,
Firmware is embedded in the host driver. You can deploy the MSI to 5000 users through your usual tool. Kind regards, Alban

Hello Pascal,
I don't know what this number refers to. This isn't a DisplayLink firmware number. DisplayLink DL-6950 ASIC is only one of the numerous chips integrated by Dell in the product. Maybe you've got a firmware update for something else. Would you please let me know where you got this from? Kind regards, Alban

Hi Alban,
This fw comes from the DELL support website (http://www.dell.com/support/home/fr/...-d6000/drivers) This latest driver (25-01-2018) fixed some issue (Resolved compatibility issue with Dell branded HDMI to VGA dongle (A03) / Improved compatibility with some monitors (eg. U3417W).) I try to find a way to help my customer to deploy this fw remotly on many D6000 dock. Thank you Regards, Pascal |

Thank you Pascal,
Our driver package won't touch that. I can confirm this is firmware update for something else than DisplayLink. From the release notes, this is most likely the internal USB hub(s). I advise you contact Dell tech support. I am confident they either have a dedicated package for remote deployment or can advise you on switches to use that executable silently. I'm sorry to bounce you to someone else, but hope you understand it is not appropriate for me to advise on someone else package. Kind regards, Alban
