Default Brand-new Inspiron 7570 laptop, Win 10 with disconnect problems

Hi,

I have a brand-new Inspiron 7570 laptop with a brand-new Dell D3100 docking station, running Win 10 Home. When I connect the laptop to external monitor/keyboard/mouse, I get frequent hangups/disconnects.

I have downloaded and installed the latest Windows software from DisplayLink.com

I have looked at the HowTo and tried to follow its recommendations, but I'm having some difficulties.
  1. Can't find any DisplayLink items in the Win 10 device manager
  2. Can't find the DisplayLink service in the list of running services
  3. Don't know how to check if the USB device booted correctly
  4. I do have the latest graphics driver installed
  5. I think I have the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver installed (done by Dell tech)

I have attached a zip file containing the support log created by the DisplayLink tool.

Any help would be appreciated

TIA,

Frank
