Default Displaylink wireless usb

I purchased a displaylink wireless usb adaptor between laptop and Infocus projector. When my old computer crashed I had to upgrade to windows 7 and now the adaptor will not work. Company says they have no plans to support the wireless plugin. What can I do?

Is there any way to salvage this?

The wireless USB to wired USB part of the product are not supplied by DisplayLink. There are 2 companies that provide this part - Wisair and Alereon. Wisair have a lot of wireless USB adapters with DisplayLink in, so the probability is that its a Wisair chipset and you need the Wisair wireless USB drivers.

Both of these companies have Windows 7 drivers, so it should be possible to get the Wireless USB drivers for this product.
