Default Issue with Virtual Machine on VMware ESXi 6.0

I'm trying to get a StarTech IPUSB2HD2 to work on a Virtual Machine. It works fine for Win10 to get a 3rd monitor, but I really want it to work on a VM.
I have installed the drivers on both a Win7 and Win10 VM. It will install and "connect", but it never shows up in Windows so I can configure it under Windows. I'm not using Workstation. I'm using VMware bare-metal hypervisor ESXi 6.0 This was to be my Holy Grail. HDMI with audio, keyboard, mouse, and flash drives. Heavens open. But sadly no.
Does anyone have any ideas? StarTech tech support says they don't support it using a VM, so they can't help.
I would get like 10 of these if I could get it to work. Please, please can someone help.

DisplayLink devices aren't supported from within a VM. DisplayLink calls this out in their knowledge base entry here -> http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...re-on-a-virtua

If you wish to voice your support for changing this, you may wish to add a comment to this 'Feature suggestion' submission -> http://support.displaylink.com/forum...er-so-that-vir
