I-tec dock using Ventura 13.4.1 on a Lenovo L29w-30 monitor

Really struggling with my extended screen that is connected through an I-tec dock via hdmi to the dock and via usbc from the dock to my Macbook Air running Ventura 13.4.1

I can be working away on the extended screen and intermittently it just goes black and then reappears after a couple of seconds. when I hook up my ps5 directly to the monitor via hdmi I don't have this issue of the screen going blank so has to be the hardware or software of i-tec dock that is using DisplayLink Manager 1.8.1 (Build 63.180)

Please help as it's killing me!

It's good to try some other HDMI cables. My monitor did not like one of the HDMI cables I was using and would go blank.
