Default Help - USB 2.0 UGA and Samsung TV

Hi folks,

Have looked through other threads and cannot find a similar issue.

Have connected the device to 2 different laptops and my Samsung TV via HDMI and they both give similar output. Have downloaded and confirmed most recent display adapter software.

Photo of TV attached. You can see in the text box it recognises the resolution the pc is set to send but no picture. It varies slightly in colour when mouse is moved but nothing much.

Anyone got any ideas? Faulty unit??

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

That looks like a faulty device, unless it is outputting a resolution that is not supported by the TV. Can you try another display?

Hi Wim,

Thanks for your reply.

Have tried with another (LG) TV and seeing pretty much the same so yup, am guessing a faulty unit. Can I get a replacement direct from DisplayLink or do I need to go back to where I bought it from?

Cheers,
Andy.

It needs to be returned to the manufacturer or the vendor. DisplayLink do not supply any end user products, only the chip in the device to manufacturers.
