Default Dell P2714T and Targus DisplayLink Docking Station

Just got these awesome 27" touch screen monitors - love 'em... would like them better though if they showed up as attached to my laptop (an HP Pavilion TouchSmart) and worked.

I've updated my DisplayLink drivers (which seem to take a great deal of processor resources - the DisplayLink software usually takes upward of 15-18% of my processor cycles), I have the monitors attached, drivers installed and they're both dark. No images / display on either. Booted a couple of times - no bueno.

The cursor / window do seem to travel off one side of the laptop display, but not the other.

I connected with Dell Chat to ask about the issue, no help.
They sent me to Dell Hardware, no help.
They sent me to Dell Core, no help.
They sent me to Dell Software, no help.

Been all over DisplayLink site here and all it says is 'we're hardware, your problem must be software'.

So here I am - anyone have an idea? I'll check back tonight & tomorrow, but looking for the resolution before I send these puppies back (/sobs softly/ and I really like them on my desk).

Many thanks to the brainiacs here - hope I can find a way through my dilemma .

As soon as the issue is seen please attach the output of this tool:
Once downloaded, please run it and select "Gather Support Information"

When you reply please select "Manage Attachments" from the "Additional Options" section below.

From there select Upload and navigate to the output of the tool which will be in a folder called "DisplayLink Support Files" on your desktop.
