Default M1 Mac mini Monitor Issue

Good Evening,

I have a VisionTek VT4900 hub, an M1 Mac mini, an LG 34 inch ultra wide monitor 34WQ500, and a Lenovo L27q-30 monitor. I also have version 1.7.0 of display link manager installed.

I have DisplayPort cables hooked up to both monitors and the MAC sees that there are two monitors connected but I just get a black screen on my second monitor (set to vertical but it doesn't matter what direction it's set in, it stays black). If I switch the display settings to mirror it will mirror the first monitor to the second but the extend displays option just will not work.

Any thoughts? This is my first post so if you need more information please let me know!

Would you be able to gather logfiles that will show us a bit more about your current setup?

To do that follow the steps mentioned in the following article: How to Report Macos Issues to DisplayLink
Your link to the drivers is broken.

Also there is no link to the article you referenced. Can you share again so I can figure out how to pull the log files?

Thank you!

As of today, the link to the latest DisplayLink Manager application for macOS (version 1.7) is here --> https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...7?filetype=exe

The knowledgebase article which describes how to report macOS issues to DisplayLink is here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink
