Default Any chance of android Dev?

I am trying to move ahead witha plan to purchase dozens of Asus transformer tablets but without a displaylink driver it is going to be a very hard sell.

It seems that every other device on earth can use the monitors I purchased except the ones I want because they use android. with all the talk about open source benefits I never dreamt that there would be apple support out there first.

Has there been any talk anywhere that would potentially solve my crisis?
