Android DisplayLink does not plsy H264 Video

I am using a Pluggable MultiDisplay Adapter with a DVI cable interface on an Odroid N2+ running Android 9.

I can play video on my main screen if the DisplayLink hardware is not attached, but if I try playing the same video with the DisplayLink hardware attached, I only get the audio, no video. I have tested this with other applications and get the same results.

I have also tried this with an ioGear DisplayLink device and get the same results so I do not think it is a hardware issue

Has anyone else seen this problem?
