Default Newest driver from 3/31 will not install, causes blue screen

In reading the other posts on here, I'm actually kind of glad that it is not installing.

Windows 10 Build 10049, and currently installed DL drivers 7.8.61754.0

If Windows update is allowed to proceed with automatic updates, my laptop will Blue Screen about 5 minutes after every boot, and will also not install the newer drivers.

Since I only installed 7.8.61754.0 on 27 March 2015, I haven't had a lot of use out of it, but it seems to be working OK with Build 10049. No issues to report.

Default

The bluescreen is caused by the update activity itself. In order to get yourself onto the latest version you need to unplug your DisplayLink monitor, uninstall the drivers and then re-install the latest version (alpha 8 as of writing this)

Default I Tried this...

I unplugged the monitor, uninstalled the drivers, installed the V8 drivers with Win 10 10049 and still get the error when looking at Windows Updates,

• DisplayLink Corp. driver update for DisplayLink Display Adapter (02FF) - Error 0x800f0203

It keeps saying it will retry, but comes back with the same message.
