Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion both crash with DisplayLink 5.4B1

The 5.4B1 build still causes Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit: I use 64-bit) to Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) when booting under both Parallels Desktop and under VMware Fusion. Win7 reports the error is in the video memory manager, and does not happen if the DisplayLink driver is unloaded or if you boot in Safe Mode.

This is well documented elsewhere on the web (Google "parallels desktop DisplayLink" or "VMWare Fusion DisplayLink") relating to DL 5.3. Apparently 5.4B1 does not fix the issue.

Attached is a screen shot of the BSOD information.
