Default Having trouble with Startech USB32HDDVII and Acer P241w

I'm having some screen resolution trouble with the latest Mac 2.0 drivers, a Startech USB32HDDVII, and my Asus P241w monitor.

No matter what I've tried I can't seem to get the Startech to fully utilize the 1920x1200 resolution that my Acer supports.

I am using Mountain Lion (v10.8.3) and the Displays control panel is showing that I should be seeing 1920x1200, but the monitors OSD is showing that I am using 1920x1080 (see screenshot #1).

When I go to the arrangement tab, I can see that the top and bottom parts of my screen are getting cut off (see screenshot #2).
