Issue with D3100 Docking Station

I have a MacBook running M1, with a docking station that works very well with my two external monitors until I put the computer in sleep mode. When I wake the laptop again, neither screen works until I unplug/plug the USB cable back in. This wouldn't normally be an issue except when I am working and running a lot of windows and tabs, as all the windows end up on the laptop screen and disappears from the external two monitors.

Our IT department has recently updated everything afaik but I couldn't get more assistance the last couple of days and it is just a bit annoying. Are there any other fixes besides firmware issues?

I have no other issues except this sleep mode issue. Thanks in advance if anyone knows a work.-around.,´
