D6000 No monitor detected
Latest MacOS 12.0.1
latest DisplayLink Manager 1.5.0 Latest firmware updated today on windows I just got this dock and my MacBookPro Model A1708 won't display on either on my monitors LG 1080p ultra wide on HDMI, Dell 4k on DP. Tried manually enabling screen share on 1.5 and tried Legacy Driver 1.4 Always says “no monitor detected” but usb seems to work. Am I missing something? Given Displaylink is a 3rd party driver its probably unwise to upgrade a critical MAC unless the release notes for the driver state that the OS version is supported. There has been instances where it has taken Displaylink close to a year to support new OS releases due to the fact that they need to rely upon Apple for many things. I've still got a M1 running on BigSur but not planning to update that until my new MAC arrives that supports multiple displays natively. Sorry I can not assist more.

Thanks for the reply. I had originally done all this on latest version of Big Sur also with no luck. My MacBook Pro is intel i5 and has 2 type c ports, 2016 model, first edition of when Apple made the jump to only putting type C ports. It has always supported multiple displays natively which is why I’m a little peeve a $300 type c dock isn’t working. I assume it’s because the dock is functioning as a USB display interface as opposed to a native type c to DisplayPort? But I am using the type c connector not the usb 3.0 adapter.
