Default Displaylink problem solved

In order to get it to work download the 5.0 version. You will probably haveto install Mojave beforehand. After the download and installation of displaylink go to system preferences and click on security. Go to general and the should be a promptto install the blocked display link. Click allow and restart. I got my Asus xen screen to work as an external monitor with an arrangement tab. The new system update security blocks the displaylink

I tried the above several times and didn't work. I noticed that my USB devices attached to the Plugable weren't on either. So, I unplugged the Plugable for about 5 seconds and powered back up. Everything booted up and working as hoped.

I'm using a 2015 MacBook with an Apple Cinema HD and Acer Display on the 2K HDMI port.
