Very jerky mouse movement on Windows 8
I currently use three USB display adapters (all the same model) on my laptop. On Windows 7 there were no issues with this, however on Windows 8 (fresh install, not an upgrade) I'm noticing a lot of jerky mouse movement on the monitors that use the adapters.
It's not constant, seems very intermittent and does not correspond with the system CPU usage levels. I'm using the latest displaylink drivers from Windows update (they automatically installed, that was cool! ) Any help would be apprciated! |

Nobody else has this problem? My USB displays are barely usable. I did not have this problem under XP or Windows 7 using the same hardware configuration.

You should install the latest driver from the DisplayLink site. I believe the version that Windows Update is using has some problems. I'm using 7.0M2 and it works very well in desktop mode.

I have the exact same problem - jerky mouse movement. Don't even get me started on moving windows from one screen to another. Unusable!
I am using the 7.0 M2 driver from Displaylink. Both W8 and driver are clean installations. My solution is using the dock as a port replicator (USB and LAN) and one external monitor connected directly to my X1 carbon with VGA. Hopefully the new driver will allow med to also use the dock for my DVI connected monitors as well. |

I'm using the latest driver software from displaylink.com - no difference from the software it pulled down from Windows Update.
Unfortunately, I experience issues whether I'm using the dock or my laptop USB connections. |
