Default Driver not starting after reboot...?

Hello,

Yesterday I've installed the DisplayLink driver on my Ubuntu machine and anything worked fine, but this morning after a reboot the driver wasn't starting. I've tried reinstalling it, but that isn't possible without removing the old one first (which is to much hassle to do every morning).

The driver should start at the point I'm connecting my docking station right?

Anybody advice or ideas to fix this?

Thanks!

What distro are you using? If it's not one of the supported Ubuntu versions, then you must ensure the installer knows if you're using systemd/upstart to start DisplayLinkManager service.

Logs would tell us more
