Default OSX 10.10.2 - Display Link Driver fails to start

The Display Link Manager fails to start.

From system.log.

1/30/15 1:01:21.474 AM DisplayLinkManager[70]: Untrusted apps are not allowed to connect to Window Server before login.
1/30/15 1:01:21.474 AM DisplayLinkManager[70]: Set a breakpoint at CGSLogError to catch errors as they are logged.

Is this occurring because the application isn't being added under privacy settings of Security & Privacy?
