ShortCuts / Keys Missing
Hi,
i just received my Kenington Displaylink-Adapter today and I am happy with it. Working well with MS Office-Stuff on an Atom-Netbook. One Thing I was missing was a solution to assign shortcut or special keys to specific Displaylink operation such as "Rotate 90°" or "Extend Monitor above" Are there any ways to triggers those actions via a shortcut or via a batchfile? Would be great as the adapter is for my Mom and I would prefer to have a "OneClickSolution" for her. Thanks, Georg -- This seems to be about a Forum about the beta, is there any regular Forum?

Hi Georg,
We hope in the future to extend the GUI (can be found in the notification area) to inlcude all these options, just like they are available in our vista and xp gui. In the meantime, it is possible to write a utility using the windows 7 connecting and configuring displays api, which is available on msdn. (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd835165.aspx) You could also use something like AutoIt to record mouse movement/keyboard input. Regards, Martin |
