I can't get it installed with windows 8.1
Can someone just send me the driver file that can attached in device manager. I've tried both the HP and Display Link version of the driver. It's a model NL571AA Thank you |

Hi
There is no standalone driver which will work on Windows 8.1. There is a USB driver, but there is also software running to get the pixels from Windows and encode them to send them over USB. Can you post the log files after you have installed so we can see what could be wrong? Wim |

Thanks for the logs. Yes, it looks like the driver is not installed.
Which Windows software version are you trying to install and are you getting any error message during installation? Wim |

I've tried both the latest version and the previous version.
They both behave the same. I get the initial 1 screens and then the app appears to disappear. No errors. I tried running it as admin but it's no different. I can see the device in Device Manager (see attached) Best, Steve |

Our tech got it working
Our tech got it working by selecting properties on the DL install program and selecting compatibility mode and then running admin. (I'd already tried the admin part many times)
They said "that software is poorly written.. we're always fighting it." |
