Default Very frequent crashes with Targus USB 3.0 dual video graphics adapter

I am seeing multiple crashes on the Windows 7 machine with the Targus USB 3.0 multiple video adapter. I am using the latest 6.3 drivers from Targus' website. Should I use 6.3 drivers from DisplayLink's website?

On Wed 6/27/2012 6:24:04 AM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\062712-14710-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: dlkmd.sys (dlkmd+0x19D12)
Bugcheck code: 0x1000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF88004708D12, 0xFFFFF8800A79DBE8, 0xFFFFF8800A79D440)
Error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
Bug check description: This indicates that a system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: dlkmd.sys .
Google query: dlkmd.sys SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M

Any ideas what might be going on?

Thanks,

We are aware of this crash with v6.3 software, and will be fixed in our next maintenance release next month.

The workaround is to downgrade to v6.2 M2 for now.

Thanks

I have tried both the v6.2 M2 and also the 6.1 drivers available on your support website. Both of these do fix this problem - however they have another problem that is even worse. When, laptop resumes from sleep; the screen flickers and shifts left-right like crazy. This makes the laptop unusable and one has to reboot the laptop.

Is it possible to get a next maintenance release beta for testing? Right now, I don't have any driver which is acceptable for Targus USB 3.0 dual display adapter.
