Hello,

Icons position:
DisplayLink software doesn't save or update the position of icons. Managing the desktop and icons are part of Windows core features. It is expected to have icons moving when disconnecting an external monitor.

Hot:
When your computer is hot, could you please check in Windows Task Manager if a task is consuming 20+% of CPU?

Kind regards,
Alban
