Hi
I was trying to reproduce the issue locally.
With the same monitor, docking station and similar laptop (XPS 13 9360), however I haven't seen any blinking.
Does you still experience that issue?
I assume that you have done apt-get update && apt-get upgrade.

Can you tell us what Xorg server version do you have?
Or can you attach Xorg server logs?
You can find them in ~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log

By log analysis, I can say that this is likely to be XServer related issue
as i don't see that DisplayLink device had any issues.

In system logs I see that video 4 linux driver(videobuf2_v4l2 ) had some crashes.
Can this be related? DisplayLink is not using that driver at all. But maybe 3rd
party software does.

Can you record a movie to show us what kind of blinking do you see?

I would like to get also output of:
dmesg -w > blink.txt
while you are experiencing that blinking.

Thanks in advance
Łukasz
