Default Isssue with displaylink

Hi
I bought a dimond bvu3500h. After installing driver, my mac does detect the display, but the problem is, the monitor itself is showing no signal, please check your cable.

My os is mac osx sierra 10.12.6 and it is a macbook air 2015 13 inch model with core i7, 8gb ram and 256 gb storage.

Here are some screenshots

(I was trying to connect the LG monitor via the adapter)

I mirrored my dell p2415q monitor with the main display and set them at 1440x900 resolution. Then i tried to stop the mirroring. Every time I connect the displaylink adapter, my dell monitor gets resized which does mean it is detecting the lg display.

I also disconnected everything, and then waited some time, and then connected only the adapter first and then the dvi cable, but it didn't work.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

This sounds like it could be a problem with the adapter or the video cable, rather than a problem with the driver.

Can you test on another computer?
